Fill out the commission form to let me know more about what you are looking for in your commission.

To accept the commission, I will need 2-3 good quality photos of your pet sent over email, including one in the position you would like for the portrait.

At the time that I accept the commission, a 50% deposit is due (Zelle swallowtailwatercolor@gmail.com or Venmo @swallowtailwatercolor).

I'll get started on painting your fur baby! If you like, I can send you updates via text or email as I make progress. 

Once the project nears completion, I will send you a photo of the nearly-completed portrait. At this time, you can let me know any minor changes. Keep in mind that watercolor is a translucent medium, so at this time only darker colors can be added on top. White acrylic can be used for whiskers, white spots. 

When the painting is ready for shipping, you will receive the final bill. As soon as I receive the final payment, I will send the painting to you. The package will be insured for the full cost of the painting.
